Privacy policy
ClockInToday doesn't ask you to create an account, fill out forms, or give us your name. Here's the small amount of information involved when you use the site, and who handles it.
The short version
- We don't sell or rent your personal information.
- The job-match quiz runs entirely in your browser. Your answers aren't sent to us or saved.
- We don't use advertising trackers or cookies of our own.
- We use your approximate state, from your IP address, only to suggest a local guide. We don't store it.
- When you click a link to a job platform, that company's own privacy policy applies from then on.
Information we receive
Technical data from your visit. Like nearly every website, our hosting provider, Cloudflare, automatically processes basic request data when you load a page: your IP address, browser type, the page you asked for, and the time. Cloudflare uses this to deliver the site and protect it from abuse. If we turn on Cloudflare Web Analytics, it counts visits without cookies and without tracking you across sites.
Your approximate state. When you open the home page, Cloudflare looks up your general location (country, state, and city) from your IP address, and the site uses your state to suggest the right local guide. That happens on the fly: we don't log it, save it, or connect it to you, and it never includes your street address or precise location.
Email you send us. If you email hello@clockintoday.com, we receive your email address and whatever you write. We use it only to reply and to fix or improve the site.
We don't knowingly collect sensitive information such as Social Security numbers, financial account numbers, health information, or immigration status. Please don't send it to us.
Services that load content on our pages
To show fonts and company logos, your browser connects directly to these providers, which receive your IP address and browser information when the content loads:
- Google Fonts (Google LLC) for the site's typefaces.
- Logo.dev for platform logos.
- Cloudflare for hosting and security.
Each provider handles that data under its own privacy policy.
Links to job platforms and partners
ClockInToday links to outside companies such as delivery apps, staffing agencies, and job boards. Some links are partner or affiliate links. When you click one, the company or its affiliate network may set cookies or record that you came from ClockInToday so we can be credited. Anything you share when you sign up goes to that company, not to us. See our affiliate disclosure.
How we use information
- To run, secure, and fix the site.
- To understand which pages are useful, in aggregate.
- To answer messages you send us.
- To comply with the law or respond to valid legal requests.
Sharing
We share information only with the service providers named above, as needed to run the site, or when the law requires it. If ClockInToday is ever sold or merged, information we hold would transfer under this same policy.
How long we keep it
We keep emails only as long as needed to handle your request and keep reasonable records. Our providers keep their logs under their own retention policies.
Your choices and rights
You can block or clear cookies in your browser, use a content blocker, or browse privately, and the site will still work. Depending on where you live, including California, Washington, Colorado, Virginia, and other states with privacy laws, you may have the right to know what personal information we hold about you, get a copy, correct it, or ask us to delete it. Email hello@clockintoday.com and we'll respond within 45 days. We won't treat you differently for making a request.
Children
ClockInToday is meant for adults and older teens looking for work. It isn't directed to children under 13, and we don't knowingly collect information from them. If you believe a child has sent us personal information, email us and we'll delete it.
Security
The site is served over HTTPS. Because we collect so little, there's little to expose, but no system is perfectly secure.
Changes
If we change this policy, we'll update the effective date at the top of this page. If we start collecting new kinds of personal information, such as through a sign-up form, we'll update this policy before we do.
